NUVA Risk Guide
Vault products can expose users to risks beyond token-price movement. Read the current official disclosures and understand the specific structure before depositing or acquiring a vault token.
Credit and underlying-asset risk
A vault backed by loans or other financial exposures can be affected by borrower defaults, servicing performance, underwriting, collateral valuation, interest rates and asset recovery. A first-loss tranche may absorb some losses but cannot guarantee that other holders avoid losses.
Liquidity and redemption risk
Redemption availability, processing time and price can depend on available liquidity, settlement, reserves and market conditions. A route described as available 24/7 does not necessarily mean every withdrawal settles instantly or at a fixed price.
Smart-contract and integration risk
Bugs, exploits, upgrades, oracle failures, bridge or protocol integrations and unexpected contract interactions can lead to losses or temporary restrictions.
Counterparty, operational and regulatory risk
Third-party issuers, custodians, asset originators, service providers, compliance screening and jurisdiction rules may affect access and operations. Terms and availability may change. Never invest funds you cannot afford to lose.
Frequently asked questions
Can vault users lose principal?

Does a target APY remove risk?
No. A target or displayed APY is not a guarantee.
Where are product-specific risks listed?
Read the official disclosures for the specific vault and the current NUVA terms.
